The Quranic references related to wealth

All praise is due Allah the gracious the most merciful and compassionate, may the peace and salutations be upon the beloved prophet Muhammed (S.A.W), his household and his beloved  companion who follows him from the first day he is been the revelation until the last day. The most high has bestowed his wealth upon us and benefited him and rest of which is in need, poor, orphan, traveler and his family. This wealth or poor is in the form a trial and that one has been going through until the last day the person die, my Allah guard, and protected us .

Before going further let me and foremost define from traditional respective. What is the traditional definition of wealth…? Anything is that economic worth (Value) and the value is identified as utility/ satisfaction resulting from things through our senses (Touch, including heart, Sight, Taste, Hearing, Smell).these things in which the utility has been derived can be things that man can gain his /her satisfaction in consuming or sensing it. First of all like to first and foremost discuss on the following:

1)      The Quranic Reference concerning of wealth.

2)      The Earning of the wealth from Islamic respective.

3)      The spending of wealth from Islamic respective.

Firstly, the Quranic reference concerning of wealth. Allah (S.W.T) said in the glorious Quran: the women, and sons, piled-up amounts of gold and silver, fine proprietary horses, and cattle and ploughed land. That’s the delight of worldly life; however Allah (S.W.T) has with Him the best return. (3:14) from Quranic reverse we learn that human desire of the worldly things like woman, sons and other forms of wealth.

Does this all-encircling instance include all the component of Inclusive Wealth? This has been come pretty motivating as Islam offers us with a broader measurement of wealth from the very starting. As of these really we don’t need to embrace the ‘trial and error’ methodology from convention respective, Alhamdulillah.

Allah (Subhana wa ta’ala) said in the glorious Quran, “… and give them something out of the wealth that God has bestowed upon you.” (Quran 24:33). From the glorious Quran we learn the wealth is bestowed by Allah (Subhana wa ta’ala) and we most share with those are in need, orphan and poor.

He Allah (Subhana wa ta’ala) also said that: creating the Universe, Allah has not retired. He is actively involved in its affairs (Qur'an, 10: 3 and 32: 5) and is aware of and deeply concerned with even the minutest details (Quran, Sural AL-Luqman, 31:16): and (Quran, Surat Al-Luqman, 67:14).

Secondly, the earning of the wealth from Islamic respective, this is process through which an individual acquire or gain his / her wealth either it is acquired from Halal or Haram ways. What is so unique an (AGIB) is, this wealth is so powerful, the Halal of the wealth is a long Hisab, very long Hisab accountability every bit of it, every dollar, and every dolasis how did you again it and how did you spent it, and the Haram of the wealth will lead a particular person to Hell fire wa iyatu bil Allah,  both wise wealth is very dangerous thing and both ends is serious issue and the Islam will never ask for you to be a consumer; that is always buying things  , always eager  to spend the money in the society we are living in, we always spend. E.g Christmas, birthday, saying one shell phone is not enough.

In another hadith  narrated by Abu Huraira that the Prophet (S.A.W) said:  The time will come upon the persons, that one will not care of how one gains/earns one's money, lawfully or unlawfully. (Bukhari) in this hadith  learn that in future people will not consider how they get their wealth either from Halal or Haram  it becomes not matter to them anymore.

As this wealth is serves as (one’s rights as a trustee•amanah)  and does not mean "a repudiation of private property", it does carry a number of very significant implications which generate a revolutionary difference in regarding the notion of private possession of resources in Islam and other economic methods. On the earth has been created for mankind. Conversely, some are for public consumption while others can be privately owned. (Quran, Al-Baqarah, 2:29) ; (Quran, surat Al- Jaathiyah, 45:13).

And endeavor to attainable –falah or wealth or property that leads to a good of this life and hereafter.  As a result the hunt or quest for wealth is not sentenced in Islam. In all other forms of, injustice, exploitation, Inequity, oppression, and wrongdoing although earning wealth, whereby a person

Dispossesses others of their privileges / rights or does not fulfill his duties towards them. Unfairness and Islam are at variance with each other and cannot coexist without either of the two being deracinated or weakened. (4:29)

(S.A.W) had mentioned an itinerant or traveler on a lengthy journey, who is tousled and covered in dust, and he stretches forth his hands to the sky, saying,"O my Lord! O my Lord!" while his food he is eating is illegal, his drink, he drinking is in illegal, his clothing is illegal, and he is nourished illegally; how can he (expect) his prayer’s to be answered? (Reported Ahmad,Muslim, and Al-Tirmidhi from Abu Hurayrah, (2/328), (2/703), and (5/220))

The opportunities are obtainable for self-employment or employment, it may be inferred that it is the group requirement of a Muslim society to ensure for everybody an equal opportunity to earn a truthful or honest living in custody with his ability and effort. This will help an individual to stay away from dishonest ways of living in indulging in unlawful consuming or dealing that has been prohibited from Islam.

Thirdly, the spending of wealth from Islamic respective, Islam encourage the Ummah to spend from which Allah (S.W.T) bestowed upon him, and for his sake only those are the righteous. How one should make expenditure in the Islam can be in the subsequent habits:

1)      The expenditure or Spending on one’s self, children, wife and poor etc.

2)      The Extravagance in your expenditure of one’s wealth

3)      Be Moderate in your expenditure

4)      Don’t be Miser to spend the wealth etc.

As stated by As narrated by Ibn Battal (M.B.U.H) Expenditure on one’s family that is on one self, children, and wife  that is better than charity, and on those Of whom he is appreciative to spend without being either extravagant no  stingy in their expenditure. As Allah said,(And those who, when they spend, are neither extravagant nor niggardly or disproving , but hold a medium (way) among those (extremes) (Quran, Suratul-AL AL-Furqan, 25:67). This spending is better than charity and all other kinds of spending.

There are many reports from the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) regarding the virtue of spending on one’s wife and children, especially daughters. As narrated from Abu Hurairah that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) is reported to have said, “A dinar which you had spent for the sake of Allah, a dinar which you had spent on to emancipate a slave, a dinar which you give in charity to a poor person and a dinar which you had spent on your family—the greatest of these in reward is that which you had spent on your family.” (Muslim, 995)

Extravagant in spending your wealth, to spend unnecessary or excessive is a form of an evil devil As Allah (Subhana wa ta’ala) said: "And give the relative his right, and [also] the poor and the traveler, and do not spend wastefully. Indeed, the wasteful are brothers of the devils, and ever has Satan been to his Lord ungrateful" (Quran, 17:26-27)

Moderate in spending one’s wealth, "And do not make your hand as chained to your neck or extend it completely and thereby become blamed and insolvent." (Quran, Suratul AL-ISRA, 17:29).from this hadith we learn that do not be stingy person not want to spend on the children or penny on the family. And they do not spend over their needs and none of the above ends but they are quwamah in the spending middle and Muslim are advice when spending to take the middle part in spending not stingy or extravagant in their spending. Allah (Subhana wa ta’ala) said in the glorious Quran "And [they are] those who, when they spend, do so not excessively or sparingly but are ever, between that, justly moderate" (Quran, 25:67).

Being a Miser hate to spend, As Abu Huraira narrated that the Prophet said: Every day two angels come down from Heaven and one of them says, 'O Allah! Compensate every person who spends in Your Cause,' and the other (angel) says, 'O Allah! Destroy every miser'.(Bukhari).

conclusion, as Islamic in we all believe that the wealth is bestowed upon us by Allah, and how you earn this wealth has to be halal that is pleasing to Allah and forbid unlawful mean of it and Spending according the Allah wills to help poor, family and the orphans not to be extravagant or miser to spend of which Allah bestowed upon you and benefited human kinds as well.
