Qadr Changeable or unchangeable

                     

                                All praise is due to Allah, the most merciful and the beneficent, may peace, salutation and the blessing be upon the prophet Muhammad (S.A.W), his entire family, his companions and those that follow their footsteps with righteous until the  last day. Indeed predestination (Qadr) someone may say how dua’a change Qadar, if it’s already written down; how Dua’a can change my fortune. Quickly there are different types of Qadr (Decree). There is that which is written by Allah (S.W.T) in a Lawh-hill-Mawfoos (preserved tablet) were everything is taken into consideration. For example you suppose to live for twenty years but you make Dua’a and you a good deeds so Allah (S.W.T) will change your Decree to thirty years that’s already taken into account in Lawh-hill-Mawfoos. What already happen is already written in the Lawh-hill-Mawfoos as far as that with the angles, the records of the angles, that which is written on the Laitatul Qadr, written when we are in the mother’s womb and that which is written on a daily bases. 

                                   Every day Allah (S.W.T) is planning and things are been written down  by the angles very single day all of that can be change and that’s what Allah (S.W.T) means when He say: “ He blows out what He wills and confirmed that which He wills. Therefore your Dua’a truly affect Qadr just like you are eating and drinking you expand your like or the other day; Dua’a that vital, yet Dua’a has that effect on your Qadr. The beloved Muhammad (S.A.W) said nothing fight with Qadr and changes Qadr like Dua’a and good deeds and he says nothing extend the life like charity (Sadaqah). Imam Nawi  (Raheemaw wala) says we can derived as well sometime people that meant to live longer time  but Allah (S.W.T) reduces their life spans  because of their sins; your good deeds can be an extension of your life and your bad deeds can be means to cut it short. Furthermore do not under estimate your Dua’a and your Dua’a is the greatest tool of personal and social change, the greatest tool you have your Dua’a. 

                                     Further, They want you to understand that Allah (S.W.T) is the one who is in charge of our Qadr , fate is one the articles of Imaan (faith) and although were here talking about marriage and love and happiness always our discussion has to be about our what we believe and we believe it. Who we believed in and what He’s asked of us (SWT) and of the articles of faith not one that is less those that proceeds it. That we believe in that which is fated for us by Allah (S.W.T) its bitter and sweet; it’s happy and sorrow its difficult and its ease; we know that Allah (S.W.T) is in charge of our life.

There is two type of Qadr they are as follow: 

                                   The first Qadr is one that you have no choice in that’s lawh al-mahfuz wal-azam. it is destined for you determined for you it is with the knowledge of Allah with the will of Allah, and with the knowledge of Allah it has those four levels of the Qadr of Allah and those are the things that Allah (S.W.T) has determined that you are not fit I am not fit to make decisions in. when I am born to what kind of family will I be born, in which society and which area I will be born in who my parents will be. Whether I will grow up happy in an affluent home or in a difficult economically improvised home, decisions that are not left for you and I genetic propensities things that I am born with that are a part of my genetic make-up that I have no ability to change and configure it is determined and set the knowledge the will the creation and the ability of Allah. Allah (S.W.T) calls this unchangeable method divine exercise.

                                “The same was the way of Allah in respect of those who passed away earlier. And you will not find the way of Allah undergoing a change”.  (Surah al-Ahzab 33:63)

Indeed there is an unalterable divine practice that the last success pertains to the spirituality, and the world belongs to the righteous.

Allah (S.W.T) in his Book that: “Indeed we have written in the Psalms, after the Torah had been given: The righteous among my slaves shall inherit the earth”. (Surah al-Anbiya, 21:105)

                                 “The earth belongs to Allah. He gives it to whom He pleases. Happy shall be the end of the pious”. (Surah al-A’raf 7:128)

The unchangeable, that Allah (S.W.T) will not change the condition of the people until they change their attitudes themselves.

“Allah never changes the condition of a nation unless it (first) changes what is in its heart”. (Surah al-Ra’d, 13:11)

The unchangeable divine exercise that unfairness and despotism which drastically lead to ruin and devastation.

“We destroyed the people of all those towns because they were unjust, and we appointed a fixed time for their destruction”. (Surah al-Kahf 18:59)

                                        The second Qadr, is a Qadr (Predestination) is also known as lawh al-mahw wal-ithbat that is giving to my hand and your hand based on the Qadr (predestination) that you have no choice in and that level of Qadr is the Qadr that you and I can influence that your mother can influence. When Prophet (S.A.W) said: “the first thing that Allah (S.W.T) created was pen, “The first thing that Allah created was the Pen7 and He said to it, ‘Write!’ It (the Pen) asked, ‘O Lord! What shall I write?’ He said, ‘Write the Decree of everything (that will occur) until the Hour is established.” (Al-Tirmidhi Hadith 94 Narrated by Ubadah ibn as-Samit n.d.)

                                         The Dua of the prophet he teaches us that when you make Dua for yourself the basis of it is asking Allah to alter our Qadr the reason you are ill and you say on Allah I ask you for healing is that Oh Allah the Qadr you the have sent and this moment of the Illness I ask you Oh Allah to change it the Dua of your mother for you changes your Qadr in terms of the days you live.

The prophet said the one want to live longer and have more prosperity in their life Let them earn the Dua of their mother in another hadith let them be good to their kin folk your Aunty your uncle your brothers, your sisters those who are tied to the…those who are tied through the binding of the womb.

                                              

                                         In conclusion, I will conclude with the prophet Yunus story as an example. Prophet Yusnus (A.W.S) it was already that Yunus (A.W.S) will be from the people in wrath, one day He will be thrown in the sea and He will be swallowed by one the big fish. Prophet Yunus while in the stomach of the big fish; He make sincere Dua to his Allah (S.W.T) and Allah (S.W.T) the answered his Dua of his slave and prophet from that which He removed him from the agony, pain and suffering. Allah (S.W.T) altered the Qadr and relieved from suffering but it wasn’t Yunus (A.W.S) Dua (supplication) that change altered the Qadr rather it was in absolute and perfect knowledge of Allah (S.W.T) during his Agony He call upon the Allah (S.W.T) answered his Dua and relieved him from the pain. Acceptance of the Dua change the Qadr “Nothing can change the qada al-mu'allaq. Only Dua’a can change it.” (Hakim n.d.)
